On Monday, June 15, WOW Logistics® welcomed new leadership to its infrastructure team with the addition of Dan Bartlett. Bartlett will oversee the department’s systems, processes, documentation, and strategic planning.
Bartlett brings more than 25 years of IT experience to WOW Logistics in designing, implementing, supporting, and managing server and networking technologies. Prior to joining the WOW team, he held various roles at UnitedHealth Group. In his most recent position as Principal Engineer and Management Leader of Service Level Owners, he oversaw remote networking services at more than 600 sites globally.
“I am eager to join the WOW Logistics leadership team,” said Bartlett. “I’m looking forward to learning a new industry and leveraging my experience to find innovative ways to help the company and its customers solve problems and drive efficiency.”
To start, Bartlett is visiting company warehouses to pinpoint and understand infrastructure issues and kickstart resolutions.
“Moving forward, I will continually seek out opportunities where the infrastructure team can create operational efficiencies that enable growth and support company goals,” said Bartlett.
Bartlett will also focus on improving service delivery and service-level agreements to distribution centers, as well as change management.
Scott VandenElzen, Vice President of Software Development, is thrilled about the skillset Bartlett brings to WOW Logistics.
“Dan has considerable experience working in larger organizations focused on standardized change control and processes,” VandenElzen said. “He will be a significant asset as WOW continues to grow.”
