WOW seeking applicants for Paper Science and Engineering Scholarship

WOW Logistics® is accepting applications for its 2017 scholarship within the paper industry. WOW Logistics® is proud to offer its annual scholarship to students attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point seeking a degree in Paper Science and Engineering. The WOW Logistics® Scholarship, created in 2010 is an annual $1,000 scholarship awarded to qualified students.

WOW Logistics® understands the importance of the paper industry to the state of Wisconsin and the economy of the United States. WOW Logistics® works closely with over 50 customers in the paper industry to handle and store more than 500,000 tons of paper products each year. With this annual scholarship WOW hopes to encourage and promote careers within the paper manufacturing industry.

Applications must be completed and returned to WOW Logistics® by May 1. The winning applicants will be announced on May 21 at the Wisconsin Paper Council Annual Meeting in Neenah, Wis.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
  • Enrolled in the Paper Science and Engineering program.
  • Sophomore, junior or senior level.
  • In good academic standing.
