WOW Logistics rewards its employees with an industry-leading medical plan, offering low employee premiums and out-of-pocket costs. Our medical insurance offers two plans – traditional or high deductible. Coverage includes preventative services that are covered at 100%.
Health Savings Account
This benefit allows employees enrolled on the high deductible medical plan to set aside pre-tax dollars for medical, dental, and vision expenses. There is also a generous employer match of up to $500 for the employee only plan and $1,000 for the family plan. The amount allocated in this account carries over each year. Health savings account maximums are based on the IRS maximum limits each year.
Our dental insurance includes 100% coverage of preventative services (routine exams, cleanings, and x-rays), as well as implant and white filling coverage. The orthodontic lifetime maximum per dependent child is $1,000. The individual annual deductible is $50, and the individual annual maximum is $1,000.
This benefit allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars for health care or dependent care services, such as orthodontia, eyewear, Lasik surgery, etc. The amount allocated must be exhausted by the end of the calendar year. Flex spending maximums are based on the IRS maximum totals each year.
Our vision insurance covers a vision exam, a $150 lens or contact allowance every 12 months, and a $150 frame allowance every 24 months.
WOW offers a basic life insurance plan to all its employees at no cost to them. This benefit pays out 1X an employee’s annual salary, capped at $50,000.
Voluntary Life Insurance
WOW offers additional low-cost life insurance in addition to the basic plan. The options include:
- Self—Increments of $10,000; Guarantee amount is $150,000; Maximum is $500,000
- Spouse—Increments of $5,000; Guarantee amount is $30,000; Maximum is $100,000
- Child(ren)—One choice of $10,000
Disability insurance covers a percentage of an employee’s earnings should they be out of work due to an injury or illness that occurred outside of work. Short- and long-term disability premiums are paid by WOW.
Employees are eligible for paid vacation immediately after hire. Vacation days are increased based on an employee’s number of years of service.
WOW Logistics offers eight paid holidays during the calendar year. These include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day.

WOW Logistics enforces a “Dress for your Day” policy. We trust our employees to be accountable for dressing in a manner that’s appropriate for the work they do. If your day allows you to wear jeans, wear jeans. If you have an important customer or vendor meeting, dress business casual. The choice is yours.
