2014 Paper Scholarship Winner is Announced

WOW Logistics® announced that Steven Swan is the recipient of the 2014 WOW Logistics® Scholarship in Paper Science and Engineering.

Swan is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Upon graduation in 2015, he hopes to pursue a career in the paper industry in the Wausau area. A graduate of Almond-Bancroft High School, he is currently interning at Eka Chemicals and did his process engineering co-op with NewPage in Wisconsin Rapids.

Created in 2010, the WOW Logistics® Paper Science and Engineering Scholarship is awarded annually as a means to encourage and promote careers within the paper manufacturing industry.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
  • Enrolled in the Paper Science and Engineering program
  • Sophomore, junior, or senior level (if senior, must attend school in fall 2014)
  • In good academic standing
