Appleton, Wis. – On Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 WOW Logistics Company® will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. at its newly constructed corporate office located at 1450 McMahon Drive, Neenah, Wis. The ceremony will include speeches by Senator Roger Roth; Fox Cities Chamber President & CEO, Bob Mundt; and WOW Logistics® President & CEO, Howard Kamerer.
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony on November 3, WOW Logistics® will be hosting an open house at the new 30,000 square foot corporate headquarters.
The construction of the new corporate office is in response to WOW Logistics®’ employee base increasing by more than 300 percent in the last six years. Aside from the space requirements, Howard Kamerer, president and CEO of WOW Logistics® says, “The focus was to build a space that was conducive to the work that we do and how our organization functions as a team.”
The new office will include collaboration rooms, larger common areas to accommodate group projects, and mechanical desks so employees can work standing or sitting throughout the day. There will also be a large patio with Wi-Fi access so employees can have the option to work outside in the summer.
Kamerer adds, “The space matches our workplace setting to our high productivity expectations. We made a considerable investment in our employees by building a headquarters that all of us can be proud to work in.”
WOW Logistics® was able to construct the new office on a reasonable budget because they built the building themselves and received significant financial support from the local municipality. “Land development and construction is one of our company’s core competencies,” Kamerer says. “We were very pleased with the results that we were able to achieve based on our budget.”
