WOW Logistics® Announces Dairy Science Scholarship Winner

Appleton, Wis. – May 3, 2013: WOW Logistics® recently named Andrew Kaskie as the winner of its dairy science scholarship at South Dakota State University (SDSU). Kaskie is a sophomore at SDSU and was presented the honor April 1 at the SDSU Dairy Science Department scholarship banquet.

A native of Hudson, S.D., Kaskie is seeking his bachelor’s degree in dairy manufacturing, with a minor in food safety. Kaskie also has worked at SDSU’s new $9.3 million Davis Dairy Plant, where he has trained on the latest Wonder Ware plant control system. He will graduate in May 2015.

“Andrew has shown, through his attitude, skill, and work ethic, to be a deserving recipient of this scholarship,” said Howard Kamerer, WOW’s president and CEO. “These are three traits our company places a high value on and will certainly lead him to much success in the future.”

Founded in 2011, the $1,000 WOW Logistics®’ Scholarship in dairy science is awarded annually to a qualifying student seeking their degree in the field of dairy manufacturing at SDSU.
