Neenah, Wis. – March 2, 2018: For the past 17 years, WOW Logistics Company® has volunteered its Little Chute, Wis. Distribution Center (DC) and its dedicated staff, led by DC Manager Jerry Wicker, to the biennial World Championship Cheese Contest.

The more than two-week process of receiving, sorting, and shipping every contest entry requires nearly 70 volunteers. These volunteers, fondly named the “B Team,” come from all walks of the dairy industry.

“Volunteering our Little Chute facility and its staff resources is a perfect opportunity for us to give back to an industry that has been so integral to our success,” stated President & CEO of WOW Logistics, Howard Kamerer.

This year’s contest saw a record 3,402 entries from 26 countries and 32 states. The entries are up 15 percent from the last biennial contest (Post Crescent, 2018).

On March 2, all 3,402 entries will ship to Madison, Wis. in time for judging on March 6-8 at Monona Terrace Convention Center.
