WOW Logistics recently promoted Ryan Koltz to Account Manager.

Koltz started with WOW Logistics in 2022 as an Operations Engineer. In this role, he improved operations processes by designing more efficient workflows, enhancing equipment, and optimizing the use of resources.

As Account Manager, Koltz will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, foster relationships, nurture new opportunities, and develop and execute strategic account plans.

“I genuinely believe in the value of WOW’s services and integrating them to deliver solutions that alleviate logistics challenges,” said Koltz. “I’m excited for the opportunity to share this value with our customers.”

Short-term, he plans to leverage his engineering expertise to build trust and foster strategic partnerships.

“Too many warehousing companies focus on solving the problem directly in front of them and don’t take time to develop partnerships,” said Koltz. “Having a background in engineering provides me with a thorough understanding of the intricacies of logistics and I can utilize that to help solve problems.”

Long-term, Koltz aims to understand the objectives of his customer base to develop strategic growth plans that navigate challenges and accomplish these goals.

“Ryan’s background in both analytics and sales within the logistics industry made him a perfect fit for this role,” said Zach Tatro, Senior Director of Sales. “His strong communication skills, organization, and drive for success will be very beneficial to our team. The fact that he comes from our own Engineering department puts him in a great position to hit the ground running.”

Prior to WOW Logistics, Koltz was a Sales Manager, Pricing Analyst and Operations Analyst with Warehouse Specialists. He was responsible for analyzing data including lean projects, facility layouts, and warehouse management system flows, configurations, and implementations.
