WOW Logistics® recently promoted Zach Tatro to Senior Director of Sales.
Tatro started with WOW Logistics in 2013 as a Logistics Engineer. In 2016, he was promoted to Account Manager, where he utilized his knowledge to create and execute profitable account plans and opportunities, lead quarterly business reviews, and drive profitable growth.
As Senior Director of Sales, Tatro is responsible for leading the account management and inside sales teams to develop and execute sales plans, for both new and existing customers, to drive strategic growth for the company.
“As the sales team continues to grow, Zach’s first priority will be to effectively onboard new team members,” said Tom Clark, Chief Commercial Officer. “He will seamlessly transition accounts, ensuring continuous exceptional service levels for our customers.”
To start, Tatro will develop the strategic account plan process for each service offering, leveraging his experience to refine procedures and train sales staff. He will also work with customers to understand their objectives and kickstart specific strategic account plans.
“Once we solidify a foundation of comprehensive, repeatable processes, we can utilize best practices to develop and maintain valuable customer relationships,” said Tatro.
Long-term, Tatro plans to drive growth via dynamic account plans that support the company’s recent growth and investment in technology, engineering, operational, and planning resources.
“Zach’s drive and determination are evident in every interaction you have with him and make him a great leader,” said Clark. “What’s unique is that his drive doesn’t prevent him from creating a collaborative environment for his team, and, more importantly, the departments his team works with every day.”
Prior to WOW Logistics, Tatro was with GENCO serving as a Business Analyst and, most recently, a Logistics engineer. He was responsible for ensuring analyses met customer objectives, leading related communications, and data analysis.
