For Immediate Release
Appleton, Wis. – January 31, 2014: WOW Logistics® announced today that it will add 21 jobs at its Menasha Distribution Center in the first quarter of 2014.
Howard Kamerer, president and CEO of WOW Logistics®, said the company will be expanding Menasha Distribution Center operations to accommodate Neenah Paper’s retail products. WOW staff will handle case picking and shipping to the paper company’s retail clients, which include leading office supply chains.
“We are excited about growing our operations to serve Neenah Paper in this new capacity,” Kamerer said. “This is excellent news for the Fox Valley job market. Anytime you can add 21 full-time positions in the Fox Cities is a great day for our community.”
With the new positions — 17 material handlers and four management — total full-time employees at the Menasha location will rise to 92. The facility already handles Neenah Paper’s commercial products. The addition of the retail line will make the WOW Logistics® Menasha facility the primary distribution center for Neenah Paper.
“We expect throughput to climb from 2 million pounds per day to roughly 2.7 million pounds when fully ramped up in the first quarter of 2014,” said Scott Gleason, WOW’s COO.
Recruitment and hiring for the new positions will start immediately.
