Appleton, Wis. – May 8, 2015: WOW Logistics® recently announced plans to construct a new 193,000-square-foot warehouse in Jerome, Idaho.
The new ambient space will interconnect with the more than 350,000 square feet of dry ambient warehousing the company already operates in Jerome. Upon completion, it will be occupied by Davisco Foods International.
“This construction project is the culmination of many months of hard work by WOW’s sales, engineering, and finance teams,” said Howard Kamerer, WOW Logistics® President and CEO. “It also exemplifies our company’s strong commitment to serving customers’ needs.”
WOW expects to break ground for the warehouse this month, with a completion date set for January 2016.
For Davisco Business Unit of Agropur President Jon Davis, the project will improve his company’s supply chain efficiency. “The new Jerome warehouse will enable Davisco to streamline our distribution and ultimately reduce costs,” Davis said.
The mayor of Jerome Idaho, Dave Davis, is equally excited to see WOW Logistics® building on its success in his community.
“Since WOW Logistics® opened their doors in Jerome in 2002, they have been fantastic community partners,” Mayor Davis said. “We are thrilled to see their continued investment in Jerome through this significant expansion. We look forward to their continued success in our community.”
