WOW Logistics® Wisconsin Rapids employees, family members, and M&M Jones Trucking gave back to the community April 11, when they picked up trash along a two-mile stretch of highway in Pittsville, Wis. WOW is a sponsor of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Adopt-A-Highway program for County Road A, from Highway 73 north to County Road C.

As a sponsor, WOW is responsible for keeping this section of highway free from litter by walking through the ditches picking up trash a few times a year. Rich Frederick, an employee of the Rapids Dry building, has been the driving force of this project since 2008. The clean-up crew included four teams of two: Rich Frederick (WRD) with his wife, Amber; Cory Christianson (WRD Manager) with his daughter, Katelynn; Monica Jones (CO) with her husband, Mike; and Lori Leggett (CO) with George Van Stedum.
